Characteristics of Charged Projectile Fragments from 24Mg – Emulsion Interactions at 4.5A GeV/c
A total sample of 1719 inelastic interactions of24Mg in emulsion at 4.5A GeV/c has been used to study the characteristics of projectile fragments. The multiplicity and angular distributions of projectile fragments in interactions with different target components have been investigated. The multiplicity and angular distributions of charged particles with velocities smaller than 0.7c produces in 6Li-Em collisions at 4.5 A GeV/c. The multiplicity distribution is independent of the energy of the projectile or its mass.
