A review on adsorption cooling systems with adsorbent carbon
This study introduces a review for the potential cooling systems which uses carbon materials as an adsorbent. Also, the adsorption carbon pairs (pairs where the carbon is the adsorbent) which is still under researches were reviewed. Effect of improving thermal conductivity of the adsorbent on performance of adsorption cooling system
In this paper, effect of using metallic additives on thermal conductivity of granular activated carbon has been investigated. Fillings of iron, copper and aluminum at different mass concentrations ranging from 10 to 30% have been studied. The thermal conductivity of the combinations has been estimated experimentally.
