Five Cu(II) complexes are tridentate Schiff bases amino acids ligands derived from condensation 3–methoxysalicylaldehyde (MS) or 4-diethylaminosalicylaldehyde (DS) with α-amino acids (L-phenylalanine(P), L-histidine (H), DL-tryptophane (T)).
