Porous Fe2O3-ZrO2 and NiO-ZrO2 nanocomposites for catalytic N2O decomposition
Mesoporous Fe2O3-ZrO2 and NiO-ZrO2 nanocomposites with 10 and 20 wt% of Fe2O3 and NiO composition were prepared by modified sol-gel method. The physico-chemical characteristics of calcined nanocomposites were evaluated utilizing different techniques such as X-ray diffraction, Raman spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron spectroscopy, N2-physisorption, H2-temperature programed reduction, Fourier transformed infrared spectroscopy after pyridine adsorption and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. Facile Synthesis and Characterization of Novel Gd2O3/CdO Binary Mixed Oxide Nanocomposites
In this study, pure cadmium oxide (CdO) nanoparticles as well as a mixed gadolinium oxide (Gd2O3)/CdO nanocomposites with mixing contents (0% ≤ Gd2O3 content ≤ 15%) were synthesized via facile precipitation technique followed by calcined treatment. The synthesized nano-powders were characterized by various techniques in terms of their structure, morphology, composition, and optical properties. X-ray diffraction analysis illustrated that all ...
