This study was conducted to prepare novel azomethine chelates of Cu(II), Pd(II), Zn(II) and Cr(III) with tri-dentate dianionic azomethine OVAP ligand 2-[(2-Hydroxy-phenylimino)-methyl]-6-methoxy-phenol.
