Electrochemical oxidation of chicoric acid (ChA) was investigated using cyclic voltammetry and chronoamperometry at a glassy carbon electrode. Chicoric acid generates single quasi‐reversible redox wave in cyclic voltammetry over a wide pH range, and an ECEC‐dimerization mechanism is proposed.
