Near UV-irradiation of CuOx-impregnated TiO2 providing active species for H2 production through methanol photoreforming
Copper doped‐TiO2 (P25) nanomaterials have been intensively studied as promising catalysts for H2 production by photo‐reforming of selected organic compounds. However, the role of copper oxidation states on the improvement of photocatalytic activity is still debated. In this work, CuOx‐impregnated P25‐TiO2 catalysts were used for photocatalytic production of hydrogen from methanol. Copper species/oxidation states both in the as‐prepared catalysts and ... Ultrastructure, Histochemical and Biochemical effects of Titanium dioxide nanoparticles in Adult male albino rat liver and possible prophylactic effects of Milk thistle seeds
ABSTRACT: Nanotechnology refers to material at the nanometer scale. It has the commercial application of products in the fields of medicine, engineering, manufacturing, information and environmental technology. Titanium dioxide nanoparticles (Tio2 NPs) are manufactured worldwide in large quantities for use in a wide range of applications including pigments, plastics, papers, inks, food colorants, toothpastes and cosmetic manufacturing. Milk thistle is ... Read more

Design of an efficient photoanode for dye-sensitized solar cells using electrospun one-dimensional GO/N-doped nanocomposite SnO2/TiO2
This study presents the combination of N, graphene oxide (GO) and SnO2 as efficient dopants into TiO2 nanofibers (NFs) photoanode substrate for highly efficient dye-sensitized solar cells (DSCs). The developed NFs are synthesized by electrospinning and hydrothermal processes and characterized by FESEM, TEM, XPS, FT-IR, Raman and EDX-studies. The formation of short NFs is confirmed through FESEM and TEM measurements. ... Read more
