Response of Antioxidant Enzymes in Pyrchantha Coccnia as Biomarkers for the Detection of Pb in Urban Atmosphere
The utility of antioxidant enzymes, via superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT), ascorbate peroxidase (APX) and glutathione peroxidase (GPX), as biomarkers of lead pollution in urban atmosphere of Baku was investigated by using the Pyrchantha coccnia.
