The Shrine of the Rock-cut Chapel of Djefaihapi I at Asyut

The present study represents a publication and examination of the innermost part of the Asyut Twelfth Dynasty rock-cut chapel of the Overseer of the South and Nomarch of the 13^th U E Nome, Djefaihapi I, who lived during the reign of Senusret I. An emended copy of the shrine’s decoration is presented here in association with a reconstruction of the shrine’s architectural features.
