The present investigation is to study the plane problem in a homogeneous isotropic micropolar thermoelastic half-space with void in the context of Lord-Shulman, Green-Lindsay and coupled thermoelasticity (CT) theories. The problem is investigated due to normal force, tangential force and thermal source. Finite element method technique has been used to solve the problem. The components of displacement, microrotation, stress, temperature change and volume fraction field are computed numerically. The computed numerical results are stimulate numerically and depicted graphically for a particular model. Effect of relaxation times are shown on the resulting quantities.
