Analysis of p± +28 Si elastic scattering at energies 21.69, 48.9, 130, 180 and 226 MeV and inelastic scattering at energies 130, 180 and 226 MeV leading to the lowest 2+ and 3− states of 28Si has been carried out in the framework of the alpha-clustering single folding model. In the elastic scattering analysis, the real part of the considered potential is taken also in the phenomenological Woods-Saxon form besides the alpha-clustering SF model. Our results are compared with the experimental data and gave a good fit. The values of the extracted reaction cross sections in the two cases are similar to each other. The calculated deformations lengths are similar to those estimated from other studies
