This study was carried out to evaluate the chemical composition and determine the level of some trace elements in raw buffalos milk and some house – made dairy products obtained from some villages of Sohag  and Qena governorates. The investigated samples were analyzed for pH value and the percentage levels of total solids, moisture, ash, total nitrogen, total protein and fat, as well as specific gravity of buffalo’s milk and the salt content % of both Kariesh cheese and Mish cheese. Also the concentration levels of iron, zinc, cadmium and lead had been measured in investigated samples. All data were statistically analyzed for ANOVA and the correlations factor for parameters.
