الوعي السياسي للمرشحين لمجلس الشعب – دراسة ميدانية على عينة من المرشحين في بعض دوائر محافظة سوهاج
الملخص: يهدف البحث إلى التعرف على مدى فهم المرشحين للقضايا والمشكلات السياسية في المجتمع المصري.
واعتمد البحث على منهج المسح بالعينة. وتم تصميم صحيفة استبيان شملت 59 سؤالاً، تم تطبيقها على عينة من المرشحين بمحافظة سوهاج، قوامها 20 مرشحًا في انتخابات 1990م.
النتائج: كشفت الدراسة عن تدني مستوى الوعي السياسي والبرلماني بين المرشحين وخاصة ما يتعلق بـ: معرفة مفهوم المشاركة السياسية – معرفة الفوارق بين برامج الأحزاب السياسية – عدم المعرفة باختصاصات مجلس الشعب – المعرفة بالتاريخ السياسي – معرفة السلطات الثلاث.
Abstract. The study examines MP candidates' awareness of the political issues in their society. The field study is based on a representative sample (20 candidates, 1990 parliamentary elections) and it used a 59-item questionnaire. The findings of the study reveal a low level of political and parliamentary awareness amongst those candidates as borne out by their low awareness of the concept of political participation, their lack of awareness of how political parties' programs differ, ignorance of the functions of the parliament as well as of political history and of the three authorities and their functions in their community.
