نتيجة لما توصلت إليه الدراسات السابقة من نتائج تؤكد وجود صعوبات يعانى منها المعلمين بمراحل التعليم الجامعي والتعليم قبل الجامعي في تصميم وبناء الاختبارات الإلكترونية ، وكذا ما توصل إليه الباحث من خلال المشاركة بتطبيق منظومة الاختبارات الإلكترونية بالجامعة الإسلامية بعدم معرفة كثيراً من أعضاء هيئة التدريس ببناء وتصميم الاختبارات الإلكترونية ، ولهذا هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى تصميم برمجية إلكترونية في تنمية الجوانب المعرفية والأدائية لدى أعضاء هيئة التدريس في تصميم وبناء الاختبارات الإلكترونية لقبول طلاب الدراسات العليا بالجامعة الإسلامية، وقد توصلت نتائج الدراسية إلى فاعلية البرمجية المقترحة في تنمية مهارات أعضاء هيئة التدريس في تصميم وبناء الاختبارات الإلكترونية.
