I have been  working in the faculty of Science since 1982,  as seniors, my colleagues and  I  concentrate our efforts  to build the college  in such a way that it will be one of the most reputational scientific institutes not only in the quanity of international publicatios but the quality of such publications also.  I hope to see  our university within the 500 highly ranked international universities

Electrochemistry of the Bis(1,4,7-triazacyclodecane) Cobalt(III) complex and its role in the catalytic reduction of hydrogen
The electrochemistry of the bis(1,4,7-triazacyclodecane) cobalt(III) complex at a mercury electrode, HMDE, in aqueous Britton–Robinson buffer solutions was investigated using cyclic voltammetry, double-potential-step chronoamperometry and chronocoulometry. The cyclic voltammetric data were analyzed by digital simulation to confirm and to measure the heterogeneous and homogeneous parameters for the suggested electrode mechanism. Generally, the complex is electrochemically reduced giving rise to two ... Read more

Electrochemical studies on sulphonephtalene part 3. Kinetics of electrochemical reduction of Xylenol orange and square wave adsorptive catodic stripping voltammetry of its lanthanum complex.
The electrochemical reduction behaviour of xylenol orange, XO, in aqueous medium was studied over a pH range of 2.3–9.6 at a hanging mercury drop electrode, HMDE, on the basis of cyclic voltammetric, and double-potential step chronoamperometric and chronocoulometric data. The experimental results indicate that in acid medium (pH 2.28) the reduction of XO proceeds via an ECEC, first-order mechanism giving ... Read more
