The mission of sohag urology department is to provide our goal is to provide the best urological health care possible.
As a residency program, our goal is to make sure that each resident has excellent training in the art and science of urology, so that they are very competitive out in the academic world and the private practice market.
The Department of Urology Sohag University has expertise in dealing with cancers of the bladder, kidney, prostate, and genitalia. In addition, we treat, pediatric congenial anomalies in urinary and genital system, cases of disorder in sex differentiation DSD, erectile dysfunction, kidney stones, voiding dysfunction, stress urinary incontinence, stricture disease, prostatitis and enlarged prostates.
Also we are the leading department in organ transplantation, we are the first in the university who did kidney transplantation; we started our program in 2016.
