D-dimer testing versus multislice computed tomography in the diagnosis of postpartum pulmonary embolism in symptomatic high-risk women
Postpartum pulmonary embolism (PE) is a challenging diagnosis because physiologic changes during pregnancy can yield benign symptoms that mimic or mask the condition.
