Experimental results on the multiplicity distributions of various particles produced in the interactions of 7Li with emulsion nuclei at a momentum of 3 GeV/_c_ per projectile nucleon are reported. The interactions of 4.5 A GeV/c 24Mg nuclei with emulsion have been studied. The multiplicity distributions of all the produced target protons from 24Mg–emulsion interactions has been found to obey the KNO scaling behavior.
