The interactions of 4.5 A GeV/_c_24Mg and 32S nuclei with emulsion were studied. The experimental inelastic mean free path for these interactions is compared with theoretically calculated values. The average multiplicities of the emitted secondary charged particles for total disintegration were investigated.
