Participation in decision-making and its impact on the job performance of workers in the Directorate of Youth and Sports

This study aims to identify participation in decision-making and its impact on the job performance of workers in the Directorate of Youth and Sports. The descriptive approach (survey studies) was used for its relevance to the nature and objectives of the study, and the study population consisted of all employees of the Directorate of Youth and Sports in Sohag Governorate, Arab Republic of Egypt, whose number is (226). Individual, and the research sample was chosen randomly from the employees of the Diwan of the Directorate of Youth and Sports in Sohag Governorate, and the study sample amounted to (100) individuals, unlike the exploratory sample (15) individuals, and the most important results reached by the researcher were there is a significant effect of participation in decision-making on the The performance of workers in the Directorate of Youth and Sports in Sohag Governorate, and the researcher found a positive correlation between the axes of participation in decision-making and the performance of employees in the Directorate of Youth and Sports in Sohag Governorate. The field before them with regard to the important decision (tactical and strategic) and not only the routine decision, as the researcher recommends the various bodies and organizations to Holding a set of training courses for managers and workers to activate democratic thought at work and encourage them to participate.
