This study applies Electrical Resistivity Tomography (ERT) to assess the geotechnical conditions of a construction site for an educational building at New Sohag University, Al Kawamil area, Upper Egypt. The ERT profiles revealed subsurface layering, groundwater influence, and potential weak zones that could affect foundation stability. The results demonstrate the effectiveness of ERT as a reliable, non-invasive tool for site characterization and safe urban development.
