A seismic microzonation study was carried out in Sohag, Egypt, using microtremor measurements and seismic data. The investigation identified site response characteristics, seismic amplification zones, and local ground motion effects. The results provide a framework for assessing seismic hazard and supporting earthquake-resistant urban planning in the region.
