This study aims to present a proposed framework for developing social studies curricula at the preparatory stage to enhance the integration of yellow economy concepts, in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Egypt Vision 2030. The study adopted the descriptive-analytical approach, employing content analysis. The findings revealed that current curricula focus heavily on traditional historical and geographical information, while there is a notable scarcity of systematic content addressing the importance of the yellow economy. Accordingly, the study proposed an integrated framework for curriculum development that includes: defining educational, cognitive, skill-based, and value-oriented objectives; incorporating new content related to sustainable development, the yellow economy, and solar energy; designing interactive and applied learning activities; developing continuous and effective assessment methods; and linking curricula to Egypt Vision 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals. The study also concluded that developing curricula in this direction enhances students’ awareness of economic and environmental issues, enables them to actively participate in national and international society, and achieves alignment between education and national sustainable development policies. Furthermore, the study offered practical recommendations for teacher training and for evaluating the implementation of the proposed framework to ensure the sustainability of development efforts and the achievement of the desired goals.
