The problem of hyponatremia appaears to be highly underestimated among hysteroscopic authorities. It was frequent amont patients with myoma resection when intramural component is more than 50% significantly correlated directly to the amount of fluid deficit. meticulous fluid management and serum sodium evaluation at frequent interval intraoperatively is mandatory to prevent the potential life threatening complications of fluid overload and hyponatremia especially during high risk hysteroscopic procedures
