A young -25 years old- man presented to the Ophthalmology Clinic in Qina Ophthalmology Hospital suffering from an inflammatory mass (subconjunctival) near the inner angle of the left eye. Surgical intervention revealed a thin round worm was extracted from the lesion, sent to the Medical Parasitology Department in Sohag Faculty of Medicine after preserving in saline solution. By examination it was identified as Dirofilaria repens.
