Elective Course 2020 5th year (Advanced Clinical Pharmacy)

1- Over all aims of Course:

A- Study the etiology, diagnosis, and pharmacotherapy of some body disorders.

B- Help the students to study cases involve certain diseases.
 

2- Intended Learning Outcomes of Course (ILO’s):

Upon completion of this course, the student should be able to:

1. Knowledge and Understanding:

• Familiarize the students with drugs used in special patient populations.
• Causes, diagnosis and treatment of some disorders
• Normal laboratory values.

5-Student Assessment Methods:

• Written examination: to assess the ability to understand and comprehend rules, basics and concepts through out the course.
• Quizzes and exercises: to assess how the student learns, accepts knowledge and how the teaching method is beneficial.
• Practical examination: to asses the ability t use laboratory tools, instruments and chemicals by a good technique to identify an unknown material.
• Oral examination to asses the ability to express, present knowledge, understands and thinks properly.
