All scholastic and university courses were successfully completed in the minimum time, without any subject failures or interruptions.
* Professional experience:
In the field of ENT, I have assisted in a variety of operations including total laryngectomy, total pharyngolaryngectomy with pharyngeal reconstruction, total maxillectomy, and excision of nasopharyngeal angiofibroma.
I do many nasal operations including submucous resection of nasal septum; septoplasty, with special interest in performing various procedures of functional endoscopic sinus surgery including endoscopic guided adenoidectomy, endoscopic ethmoidectomy, middle meatal antrostomy, sphenoidotomy, removal of various nasal polyps, removal of benign nasal masses as inverted papilloma, endoscopic guided medial maxillectomy, and endoscopic guided excision of some benign nasopharyngeal tumors. In addition to performing mid-facial de-gloving approach for extensive benign and locally malignant nasal tumors and excision of cystic swellings of the nose.
I have special interest in various surgical procedures for cholesteatoma management including atticotomy, atticoantrotomy, canal wall down procedures and reconstructive ear surgery after eradication of pathology. I had achieved the highest success rate in cholesteatoma surgery published internationally. In addition, I perform other middle ear surgical procedures as myringotomy and tube application and tympanoplasty.
I'm one of the cochlear implant team in Sohag Faculty of Medicine that performed 270 CI surgeries up to date. I'm the member in charge of the team since 7-2017 up to date.
I do many throat and neck operations including tonsillectomy; uvulopalatopharyngoplasty; submandibular sialadenoidectomy; thyroglossal cyst excision; tracheostomy and excision of cystic neck swellings as epidermoid, dermoid, and branchial cysts.
I do various endoscopic procedures in otorhinolaryngology, including nasopharyngoscopy, esophagoscopy, laryngoscopy, microlaryngosurgery, and bronchoscopy.
