Graduation

I graduated from the faculty of Medicine , Sohag University after finishing  MBBCH Degree in November 2013 , with a “ very good & Honor degree “ .

I had spent  the house officer training year in Sohag University from 1 March , 2014 to 28 February , 2015. Two months in each of the following departments: General Surgery, Neurosurgery , Internal  Medicine, Radiology , Pediatrics, Anesthesia , emergency and  Obstetrics & Gynecology Departments.

Postgraduate Studies

After finishing the military service , I joined the postgraduate training program in Sohag University , Faculty of Medicine  , and I was offered a registration for MS Degree in Neurosurgery in October  2015 , after approval of the department committee . Then I passed the examinations of the first part  of MS Degree ( Academic sciences ) in April 2016 , graded “Very Good “

Residency in training program

I Joined the residency training program in the Neurosurgery department  in Sohag University Hospitals , For training as aresident in the Neurosurgery ( Inpatient department , Outpatient clinics , operation room and Emergency room ) .

The residency years extended from 28-4-2015 to 28-4-2018. Then I  applied for a Demonstrator of Neurosurgery in Sohag University and accepted , starting form 2-8-2018

The training include rotational practice in outpatient clinics , emergency unit , scheduled operation lists ( assisting in brain tumors excision , spine degeneratives & tumors operation ) , trauma operations like an Extradural hematoma evacuation and elevation of the depressed fracture or like V-P shunt insertion or management of the spine trauma and fractures .

Attending the weekly Neurosurgery Scientific Meeting ( discussion and appointment of the patients pre and post-operative , discussion about the latest updates of neurosurgery )

SCIENTIFIC ACTIVITIES:

• Attending the 1st international Upper Egypt Neurosurgical Conference 2017 in collaboration with Egyptian Society of Neurological Surgeons .
• Attending the 3^rd international congress on minimally invasive Neurosurgery Cairo Contemporary MIN 2016
• Attending the 40^th Annual Meeting of ESNS & the 11^th Meeting of PANS ( The Egyptian Neurosurgery Pat , Present & Future )
• Attending Kawamoto’s international craniomaxillofacial workshop 26^th – 30^th October 2015
• Attending Sohag Sommerlad 7^th Multidisciplinary Cleft workshop 10-13 December 2016
• Attending Kawamoto Craniomaxillofacial Symposium 10-12 April 2017
• Completion the Emergency First Aid Course at dar elshefaa hospital – Helwan
• Attending the national workshop on the reproductive neoplasms held on Thursday , the 28^th October 2010
• Attending The Neuro Scientific day of Armed Forced Hospital on Friday 25-3-2011
• Attending the 1^st scientific students’ congress under the theme of ( Journey TO Medical Future )

• A member of the Quality committee responsible for determine the parameters measuring the teaching process at the Faculty of Medicine – Sohag University .
