ABOUT ME

Dedicated Assistant Lecturer and PhD Researcher with a passion for multidisciplinary research that bridges the gap between various fields within the biomedical sciences. I'm committed to contributing to groundbreaking discoveries that advance our understanding of complex scientific challenges. Through rigorous research and collaboration, I aim to make a significant impact in the field of biomedical sciences, leveraging both my academic background and my growing expertise in cutting-edge techniques.

EDUCATION

PhD in Veterinary Medicine (Ongoing)

Sohag university, Sohag, Egypt.. [ 12/2021 – Current ]

During this period, I have developed advanced laboratory skills in molecular biology, including the extraction of DNA and RNA from various sample types. I have gained proficiency in a range of PCR techniques, such as multiplex PCR,
allele-specific PCR, nesting PCR, and colony PCR, for targeted DNA sequence amplification, as well as qPCR for gene expression analysis. Additionally, I am acquiring expertise in molecular cloning and gene editing using the CRISPR-Cas9 system. My experience also extends to cell culture techniques
and characterizing cells through flow cytometry to assess functionality and cellular traits. I am involved in establishing and maintaining cell cultures for cancer biology research, exploring the impact of drugs on the tumor cells. Furthermore, I have enhanced my proficiency in histological and immunohistochemical staining which are critical for tissue sample analysis. My skills are complemented by experience in bioinformatics, allowing me to effectively analyze biological data and refine research methodologies.

M.V.Sc. in Anatomy and Embryology

Sohag university, Sohag, Egypt. [ 04/2018 – 07/2021 ]

Gained proficiency in sophisticated ultrasonography methods and morphometric analysis to assess vascular dynamics, which enhanced my understanding of physiological processes in complex biological systems. Additionally, I gained proficiency in histological and immunohistochemical methods, which deepened my insights into cellular behavior and variations and boosted my broader research interests in health and disease. I also enhanced my academic skills, including critical thinking, data interpretation, research methodology and scientific writing.

ERASMU+ KA107 Learning Mobility in Spain.

University of León, León, Spain. [ 25/02/2020 – 22/07/2020 ]

Participated in a research project for six months under the supervision of Professors Mercedes Álvarez and Luis Anel. Developed advanced laboratory and clinical skills including mastering the operation of ultrasound machines, Doppler devices, various imaging modalities and assisting sperm functionality by using flow cytometry. This experience enhanced my proficiency in experimental design, flow cytometry data analysis, and statistical analyses, as well as scientific writing. Additionally, I strengthened my collaboration skills within an international research environment, fostering teamwork and knowledge exchange. GPA: 8 on a scale of 10 (Transcript of Records).

B.Sc. in Veterinary Sciences

Sohag university, Sohag, Egypt. [ 09/2011 – 06/2016 ]

Built a solid foundation in basic Veterinary Sciences like Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pathology, Pharmacology, and Molecular Biology. Developed great diagnostic and laboratory skills along with proficiency in animal handling. Enhanced communication and teamwork abilities for effective collaboration in veterinary practice.

Graduated with distinction (Excellent with Honor) GPA: 87.08% (Transcript of Records).

Application of ultrasound technique to evaluate the testicular function and its correlation to the sperm quality after different collection frequency in rams
The frequency of semen collection is a crucial factor to consider in the rams performance inside breeding centers workout. To evaluate this factor, ram Breeding Soundness Evaluation could include sperm quality evaluation and new predictive and non-invasive tools such as ultrasound technique. In this work, an advanced ultrasonography technology, analyzing the testicular volume, echotexture, and vascular function, was used in ... Read more

Morphological and ultrasonographic characterization of the three zones of supratesticular region of testicular artery in Assaf rams
To fully understand the histological, morphometrical and heamodynamic variations of different supratesticular artery regions, 20 mature and healthy Assaf rams were examined through ultrasound and morphological studies. The testicular artery images of the spermatic cord as shown by B-mode analysis indicated a tortuous pattern along its course toward the testis, although it tends to be less tortuous close to the ...
