Dear Colleagues and Friends :It is our honor and privilege to welcome you to the First International Congress of the World Society for Cardiothoracic Trauma that will be held in Port Ghalib, Red Sea Resort, Egypt, between 1-3 Novemebr, 2018, in collaboration with the Military Medical Academy and the Egyptian Society of Cardiothoracic Surgery.
The World Society for Cardiothoracic Trauma www.wsctt.com continues its main mission of spreading medical education of such a highly sub-specialised surgery and starts its first international meeting in a unique place on the Red Sea, where some of the World`s renowned surgeons and authorities in the subject will be the keynote speakers in the congress. For example, prof Kenneth L. Mattox, advisory Councilor of the Society and an Associate Editor of its official Journal namely, the journal of Cardiothoracic Trauma www.jctt.org, will make keynote spectacular talks everyday in the meeting. A faculty well mixed of different parts of the World with different cardiothoracic trauma experiences. Exchange of knowledge and experiences on such a highly advanced level is one of the main idea of the congress.
Besides a unique and a huge dose of knowledge and experience on Cardiothoracic Trauma, we choose the Red Sea Resort, The Palace, as this venue is located almost in the center of the World. The Red Sea itself offers a spectacular relaxing environment with its specific nature and creature just outside the congress venue, that is also close to Luxor and Aswan where social activities extend to visit and experience the World`s oldest civilisations where ”everything begins”. This last one is a great opportunity also to the spouses and children of the colleagues and friends who will attend and share us this great and unique event.
