The influence of root endophyte fungus _Piriformospora indica _on some crop plants was studied under pot conditions. The investigated plants were _Vicia faba_, _Lupinus termis_, _Arachis hypogaea _and _Hibiscus sabdariffa_. The root endophytic fungus _Piriformospora indica _has been shown to increase resistance against abiotic salinity stress in some crop plants: _Vicia faba_, _Lupinus termis_, _Arachis_ _hypogaea _and _Hibiscus sabdariffa_.
