Photoemulsions have been irradiated with 4.5A GeV/c Si 28 ions. Events having a number of heavily ionizing particles N h≥ 28, were selected for this study. It is shown that these events represent the complete destruction of Ag (Br) emulsion nuclei into almost individual nucleons without a measurable residual nucleus.
