Effect of Si, Al2O3, and aluminum dross on sinterability and properties of Ni–Ti metal matrix composites prepared by powder metallurgy
• The common formed phases in all composites were rutile, Ni and TiNi with the presence of some tracephases. The higher sensitivity of Ti to oxidation and the presence of oxygen in the sintering atmosphere led to formation of rutile phase. • The porosity of sintered composites was decreased with increasing thesintering temperature and with the addition of Si, Al2O3 ... إقراء المزيد
