Petrochemistry of the Pan-African basement rocks from Humr Waggat area, Central Eastern Desert, Egypt.
The basement suite of the Humr Waggat area is consists of Pan-African serpentinites, calc-alkaline metavolcanics, metagabbros and post orogenic granites. geochemically, the serpentinites are of hurzburgite parentage and enrcihed in Ni which bears non-consanguineous relationships with the tectonically incorporated metavolcanics and metagabbros which of calc-alkaline geochemistry, formed in an island arc setting.
