Empowering rural people as Change agents is one of the sustainable development primary goals to deal with changes resulting from land degradation and population growth by educating rural people sustainable use of natural resources the practices . the research aimed to identify the most independent variables related to activating the role of field schools in modifying some rural behaviors to increase their agricultural productivity from the unit area and preserving the products from pollution.by identifying operational contents of field farmers schools, benefit from field farmers school , their role in upgrading the social and environmental aspects, and finally the problems they face when dealing with field schools. data were collected from some rural people enrolled in field farmers schools in the village of Zahra, Kafr El-Dawwar Center, Beheira Governorate, where the field school work method is applied, with sample size was 150 respondents.
The results showed the following: taking advantage of the field schools in acquiring information that helps them increase production and income, care for the environment and its maintenance, and improve the relationship of the rural people with the guide and his neighbors in the village, and that the rural people can identify their needs and rely on themselves in the struggle, and then modify their behavior to improve the quality and quantity of production. The set of these variables must be taken when implementing the field farmers schools so that they can play the role assigned to them to modify the behaviors of those enrolled in them.
