"الثالث المفقود بين الليبرالية والاشتراكية"

الملخص

تحاول هذه الورقة البحثية الإجابة عن تساؤل جوهري: هل هناك طريق ثالث بين الليبرالية والاشتراكية؟. فبينما تبحث الليبرالية عن الأنا تبحث الاشتراكية عن نحن فهل من طريق يجمع بين الأنا ونحن؟.هذا وقد سطر المفكر البريطاني المعاصر انطوني جيدنز عدداً كبيراً من أعماله لمناقشة الطريق الثالث فهل نجح في ذلك؟.

هذا وقد انتهيت إلي أن البحث عن الطريق الثالث كالبحث عن السراب، فأكثر المتشدقين بهذا الطريق يكونون أميل إلي الليبرالية أو الاشتراكية، ومن ثم يضيع الطريق الثالث.

Abstract

This paper attempt to answer an essential question: Is there a third way between Liberalism and Socialism?. Whereas liberalism searches for the" I", socialism searches for the" we". Is there away in which the "I" and the "we" can meet?. The contemporary British intellectual Antony Giddings consecrated a considerable number of his works to argue about this third road, did he succeed?.

   The paper concludes that searching for this third way is running after mirage, those who long for adopting the third road are actually more akin to liberalism or socialism, thus the third road is lost.
