The present work was aimed to identify of terrestrial
gastropods species in Sohag Governorate during
2014/2015 season. The Results showed that found
first record of two species of land snails,
Monachaobstracta (Montagu), and Eobaniavermiculata
(Muller) in the study areas. These results to be used in
the development of a future plan in effective strategy
for implementation of land snails management
programs in cultivated and newly reclaimed agro
ecosystems in Egypt.
