This course will cover the basics of computer technology in today's world. Students will focus on the following components of computer proficiency: keyboarding, operating systems, word processing, spreadsheets, database management, presentation graphics and the internet. Microsoft Windows 7 and Microsoft Office 2007 will be used to demonstrate these components. Other concepts will also be explored. Students will apply their knowledge to everyday uses of the computer in the business world and their own lives.
