Primary myelofibrosis is a chronic myeloproliferative neoplasm characterized by a clonal myeloproliferation and myelofibrosis. There are progressive reactive fibrosis of BM leading to pancytopenia, accompanied by extramedullary haematopiosis with hepatosplenomegally and osteosclerosis
