Commentary case

 

A 40-year-old male manual worker was brought to the Emergency
Department suffering from an extensive burn involving the face and the
upper half of the body. The patient was exposed to a fire in a closed
space and he was forced to escape by falling from the fist floor.
Examination revealed a pulse of 120/min, B.P 90/70 mmHg, respiratory
rate 30/min and charring of the face.
