   Assessment of gesttional age  (AGA) ( New ballard score):

It is a set of procedure developed by Dr. jeanne L Ballard.MD to determine the gestational age through neuromascular and physical assessment of the newborn infant

The neuromascular assessment includes:

1- Posture 

2- Square Window

3- Arm recoil

4- Scarf sign

5- Heel to ear

6- Popliteal angle

The physical assessment includes:

1- Skin

2- Lanugo hair 

3- Breast

4- Planter surface

5- Eyes/Ears

6- Gentalis male/ female
