The Weekly seminar for general surgery is held on thursday in the Scientific meeting room in the surgery department
In This Seminar several activities are presented by junior and senior staff members and also the postgraduates candidates in form of open discussion. These activities include the following:-

- Journal clubs
- Imaging demonstrations
- Surgical procedures demonstrations
- Candidates presentations for research proposal for required thesis and essay.
