This work describes the fabrication and applications of potentiometric silver-selective sensors, based on the use of a newly synthesized p-tert-butylthiacalix[4]arene comprising two triazole rings, as a novel neutral ionophore in plasticized poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC) membranes.
