An improved moth‐flame optimization algorithm for solving optimal power flow problem
This paper proposes an improved moth flame optimization (IMFO) algorithm to effectively solve the optimal power flow (OPF) problems. The concept of moth flame optimization (MFO) is inspired from the movement of moth towards the moon direction. IMFO is mainly based on the concept of MFO with modifying the path of moths in new spirals around the flame. Standard IEEE ... Read more

Synthesis of Some New 1,8-Naphthyridines From N-(7-Chloro-5-Methyl-1,8-Naphthyridine-2-yl) Acetamide and 7-Amino-2-Chloro-4-Methyl-1,8-Naphthyridine
The first parent compound N-(7-chloro-5-methyl-1,8-naphthyridine-2- yl)acetamide was reacted with both of ethyl thioglycolate forming ethyl [{7-(acetylamino)-4-methyl-1,8-naphthyridine-2yl} sulfanyl] acetate and ethyl[(-7-amino-4-methyl-1,8- naphthyridine-2yl) sulfanyl] acetate and with thioacetamide to afford N-[5-methyl-7- sulfanyl-1,8-naphthyridine-2-yl] acetamide. The last product was used as an intermediate for the synthesis of different novel mercapto derivatives. The second parent compound 7- amino-2-chloro-4-methyl-1,8-naphthyridine was reacted with several active organic compound ... Read more

Rapid and Green Chemistry Catalysis in Synthesis of Hexahydroquinazolinones and Cyclopenta, Cyclohepta[d]Pyrimidinones with Prediction of Biological Activity via PASS INET
Ceric Ammonium Nitrate (CAN), turns out to be commercially available, efficient and mild catalyst for synthesis of polyhydro-2Hcycloalka[ d]pyrimidinones and hexahydroquinazolinones in few minutes. Accompanied with Predictions of the activity spectra of some selected compounds using PASS INET. at Pa > 50%, showing high probability of Protein kinase (CK1) inhibitor and Alpha7 nicotinic receptor agonist. However Cycloheptene systems showed some ... Read more

Hormonal Requirements Trigger Different Organogenic Pathways on Tomato Nodal Explants
In this work, nodal-disk segments (4 - 6 mm in diameter × 5 - 6 mm in length) were obtained from established shoot culture, resulted from disinfected tomato seedlings, and they were suitable to induce different organogenic pathway under the influence of specific hormonal treatment. Application of BAP (1 - 2.5 mg/l) alone or in combination of 0.5 mg/l NAA ... Read more
