Complete ring avulsion injury necessitates a difficult choice between microvascular repair and revision amputation. Microvascular repair is technically difficult and amputation may leave an unsatisfactory result. We describe an alternative method whereby a reverse radial forearm flap is wrapped around the complete degloved digit.
