The present study highlights some methods that can be used to introduce archaeology, especially Islamic numismatics, to raise archaeological awareness in society and publicize archaeological and cultural tourism in Egypt and abroad. Some ideas were presented and applied in the study, and their results were followed up and measured. Accordingly, several applicable ideas were suggested for utilization. To ascertain the importance of this idea, a proposal was made and applied in collaboration with the 2nd-year students at the Department of Islamic Archaeology, Faculty of Archaeology, Sohag University in 2017 – 2018 and 2019-2020. Banners introducing Islamic numismatics were designed and printed. As a result, they had a strong impact on students and visitors. To determine the knowledge of groups in the society of Islamic numismatics and their role in life in the past and present, some ideas were applied in a graduation project of some fourth-year students entitled: (Contemporary Methods of Identification and Publicity of Islamic Numismatics).
