In this research, a sliding mode control (SMC) was designed for controlling the grid connected photovoltaic (PV)
power system. The proposed controller is affected of the current dynamic response of the system. Time domain
simulations of a grid-tied three-phase inverter with active power injection subjected to major disturbance is
investigated. The simulated results show the robustness of the proposed sliding mode controller and its capability
to enhance the PV system performance with various operating conditions. LCL filter was used to ripple and
harmonic cancelation.
