Chocking is the inability to breathe because the trachea was blocked,constrictedor sollowen shut.
The first aid for chocking ( a five and a five approach )
A- A conscious chocking infant :
1- Give five back blows
Give firm back blows with the heel of one hand between the infant's shoulder blades
2- Give five abdominal thrusts
Place two or three fingers in the center of the infant's chest just below the nipple line and compress the breastbone about 1 and 1/2 inches
Note: support the head and the neck securely when giving back blows and abdominal thrusts. Keep the head lowered than the chest
