introductory mineralogy and petrology for the third year students in the Faculty of education (primary schools section) comprises introduction in mineralogy and mineral identification, physical properties of minerals, and mineral classification. The course also comprises introduction to the study of the three types of rocks igneous, sedimentary and metamorphic rocks.
