WORK EXPERIENCE:

26/12/2023 – To date

Associate professor (Physics)

at Sohag University, Faculty of Science, Physics Department, Sohag (Egypt)

·        Teach physics courses to undergraduates and graduate students.

·        Deposit all-solid-state full batteries (Li-ion and F-ion batteries) using pulsed DC magnetron sputtering and RF magnetron sputtering.

·        Provide training for demonstrators on the subsequent plasma systems and analysis instruments at the Plasma Application Laboratory (PAL):

-         RF inductively coupled plasma for surface treatment

-         DC magnetron sputtering (continuous and pulsed modes) for thin films deposition

-         RF magnetron sputtering for thin films deposition

-         Atmospheric plasma for activating and cleansing material surfaces

-         Optical microscope for surface and sectional morphology

-         Image Analyzer for imaging, grain size, and phase ratio calculations

-         Vickers microhardness tester for plastic microhardness measurement

-         Tensiometer for surface energy & surface wettability measurement

-         Profilometer for surface roughness and waviness measurement

-         Ball-on-disk tribometer for wear resistance and friction coefficient measurement
